CIRCULATION POLICIES

- Books circulate for 3 weeks, up to 10 books per cardholder
- New books circulate for 2 weeks, up to 2 books per cardholder
- DVDs circulate for 2 nights, up to 3 DVDs per cardholder
- CDs circulate for 1 week, up to 5 CDs per cardholder
- Magazines circulate for 2 weeks, up to 5 magazines per cardholder
- Audiobooks circulate for 2 weeks, up to 3 audiobooksper cardholder




FINES

New books $0.25/day
Other books, audiobooks and magazines $0.10/day
DVDs $1.00/day


RENEWALS

New books cannot be renewed. Everything else can be renewed it if is not reserved.
To renew via telephone call (732) 776-2995

Renew an item online:
  1. To reserve an item online visit the Library Catalog.
  2. On the left side of the page under “Log In", enter your library card number which can
be found on the back of your library card.
  3. On your initial login your password is USERPASS.
  4. Click the Login button.
  5. Select “My Account” from the top menu bar.
  6. Click on “Items Out”.
  7. You will see a list of “Items charged out to me”.
  8. Select the items you wish to renew.
  9. Click on the renew icon.
  10. You will now see the new due date.
  Note: Items which have holds cannot be renewed.

Reserve an Item online:
  1. To reserve an item online select the Library Catalog.
  2. On the left side of the page under “Log In’, enter your library card number which can
be found on the back of your library card.
  3. On your initial login your password is USERPASS.
  4. Click the Login button.
  5. Using Quick Search or Advanced Search, enter the item you wish to search.
  6. When your item appears on the screen click on the “Reserve This Item” button.
  7. Highlight the item you wish to reserve and click the “Reserve” button.
  8. You will see a message “This item has been reserved successfully”.

Cancel a Reserved Item:
  1. After logging into the library catalog go to “My Account”.
  2. Select “Reserved Items”.
  3. Highlight the item you wish to cancel.
  4. Under “Notes” icon you will see a red button.
  5. If you hover your mouse over the icon it will say “delete”.
  6. Click this button.
  7. A message will appear asking, “Continue to delete this reserve?”
  8. Select yes to delete.


NEW MATERIALS

You can see our new books when you visit the Library Catalog.

Log in with your library card number. Your default password is userpass. You will be asked to create a personal password for yourself immediately.

Below the search window is a marquee with subject-oriented books. Below the subject-oriented book marquee are links to our new materials.
